The International Mathematics Enhancement Programme (MEP) was developed by the Centre of Innovation in Mathematics Teaching (CiMT), Plymouth University, based on International best practices observed in mathematically high achieving countries such as Hungary, Finland, Singapore, Russia and Japan. The Programme will ensure the development of teacherssubject knowledge in Mathematics and provide all participating teachers with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to ensure that they are equipped with the requisite skills needed to effectively integrate the MEP resources in their mathematics lessons
