The Department of Mathematics at The Mico University College has embarked on a process to be the premier centre for the preparation of teachers of Mathematics education in the Caribbean with the relevant skills necessary to drive human development in 21st Century.

The Department actively supports the activities of CCEMaT (Caribbean Centre for Excellence in Mathematics Teaching).
