On Tuesday, October 25, 2022, The Mico University College and the IberoAmericana University of Colombia collaborated in the launch of a short course in Inclusive and Intercultural Education. This course is one component of a wider programme of collaboration between the two institutions of higher education and is based on a memorandum of understanding and a project charter signed between both entities.
Diversity is a characteristic of contemporary local and global relationships. It is the reality of a borderless world and is especially evident at the formal institutional level. The course will explore diversity cultures and globalization and the theory and practice of social inclusion within the family, the community as well as within educational institutions. It will also interrogate concepts of differentiated evaluation and pedagogical and technological interventions. The course is structured in six (6) modules of three (3) weeks each and consists of forty-eight (48) hours synchronous delivery and ninety-six (96) hours of asynchronous delivery.
